| Mission | Filament Engineering Ltd.’s vision is to bring improved solutions for cooking. FEL is committed to improve the rural lives by reducing the health risks and help lower income groups in the society to help fight for financial solvency by reducing the costs of fuel while mitigating the energy demands for cooking in a smart way. FEL believes in lowering the respiratory problems and lung cancer patients among the underprivileged portion of our society and this will be done by aligning FEL’s clean cooking stove research and continuous improvement. |

| Clean Cooking Activities | Our production of Cook Stoves started less than a year back. Since then we are trying hard to push the quality parameters of ICS, participating various workshops and showing the output to country renowned research organizations e.g. BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology), BCSIR (Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) etc. We already applied to IDCOL for approval of MUSPANA Clean Cook Stove and performed the In-house Test. The greatest achievement is getting the work order of 100 pcs stoves from JITA Bangladesh and 300 pcs stoves from Rahimafrooz, which is a leading firm working in renewable energy sector). FEL manufactures and distributes the improved rocket type stove which uses common hardwood, stems, leaves as. As the common rural households feel comfort to collect the fuel from around the house and nearby areas, an improved rocket type stove which can increase the fuel efficiency will be the first point of attraction for the villagers to the improved cooking. The stoves come in two different sizes - one for up to 5 member family and the other- for around 10 member family. |
| Partnership | We would like to help create change by aligning ourselves with this noble cause in the sector of manufacturing. We delved into this project not much earlier, however the immense success and the necessity has driven us to dedicate our time and effort into it. We are endeavoring our best to serve this purpose by through developing, researching and creating awareness about Clean Cook Stove. We believe this partnership is the best way forward to reach the goal we intend to achieve, i.e. help securing the lives, protecting the health and saving the environment. We plant to make our products affordable and accessible as much as we can, and we hope such platform can be used to serve this purpose in the best possible manner. We have our experiences, ideas and insight which we would like to share with others so that the adoption of clean cooking stove gets much easier. |
