| Clean Cooking Activities | In 2012, Proto Energy was registered as a sole proprietor in Malawi under the Directorship of Mr. Bernard Swanepoel. Since its inception, a lot of ground work has been done and stakeholders approached and given demonstrations. Due to the finding that the business is sustainable, Deloitte has been given instruction to register the company as a Limited company with a MD, 2 Directors from Malawi and one director from South Africa and Deloitte will be appointed as Secretary. We have already distributed a total of 450 stoves throughout the country and there are several orders from businesses such as Illovo and Citrefine Plantations which must be realized in the next three weeks. Planning a project around Kasungu National Park involving the local population in and around park. |
