In July 2019, the Clean Cooking Alliance and the UN Institute for Training and Research hosted the first Humanitarian Energy Conference with support from the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation and Shell International. Over two days, 161 participants from 76 organizations across 28 countries gathered in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to learn, exchange knowledge, and collaborate toward achieving the vision of affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy services for all crisis-affected people by 2030. This report summarizes the outcomes of the conference.
