This publication provides a snapshot of available technologies, existing projects, and current knowledge on implementing cooking interventions in humanitarian settings. It profiles two fully scaled cooking projects that have changed the lives of refugees and IDPs in Ethiopia and Sudan, and features several innovations – fuels, cooking technology, and distribution models – that have the potential to benefit more crisis-affected people with further research, funding, and field testing.
