Julie Ipe is the Senior Director for Gender, Demand, and Policy at the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA). She oversees the design and execution of CCA's behavior change and demand creation efforts, including consumer-facing mass media and community-based communication campaigns. She also co-leads CCA's overall market development program, with a focus on activities related to gender and policy. Julie came to CCA from the Energy and Climate team at the United Nations Foundation. Earlier in her career, she worked as a consultant specialized in NGO management and strategy. Before that, she worked at TIG Global, a digital marketing agency, where she executed advertising campaigns for the travel industry. She also spent a year teaching English in Turkey. Julie holds a master’s degree in International Economic Policy from American University’s School of International Service and graduated with honors from Ohio State University.
