Jichong Wu is the Country Manager for China at the Clean Cooking Alliance, leading the Alliance’s annual strategy, operations and partnership development efforts in China. In particular, his work focuses on policy advocacy, research, practitioner and manufacturer outreach and private sector engagement. Previously, Jichong worked as a senior program associate at the Energy and Climate team at the United Nations Foundation. In this role, he followed the international climate negotiations, provided research support on biomass policy and technology in West Africa, and coordinated the engagement plans with the Chinese government and stakeholders for the UN Sustainable Energy for All initiative. Prior to that, Jichong was with the Atlantic Council where he provided research support to key publications for the Energy and Environment program. Jichong holds a BA in Economics from the Northwestern Polytechnical University in China and a Master’s degree in International Relations from Syracuse University.
