Dave Fils-Aimé is the Haiti Project Manager for the Clean Cooking Alliance. Prior to joining the Alliance, Dave worked at the Embassy of Haiti in Washington, DC where he first served as Political & Economic Affairs Representative and thereafter as Director of Culture & Education. Dave also previously worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Haiti where he served as the focal point for donor relations and resource mobilization.
In addition to his current role at the Alliance, Dave is the Founder of Baskètbòl pou Ankadre Lajenès (Basketball to Uplift the Youth), a nonprofit organization he launched in 2013 with the objective of using basketball as a tool to educate and mentor underprivileged youth in Haiti. In 2016, Dave received a Congressional Record award from United States Congresswoman Frederica Wilson for Baskètbòl pou Ankadre Lajenès’s work in Haiti.
Dave holds an Ed.M. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University, and a B.A. in Political Science from Yale University. Since 2014, he has served as Director of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee for the Caribbean region. Dave is fluent in English, French and Haitian Creole, and is also proficient in Spanish.
