Clean Cooking Alliance

Hosted by the United Nations Foundation (UNF), the Clean Cooking Alliance (CCA) includes a governance structure made up of a Leadership Council and Advisory Committee. CCA’s Leadership Council is composed of high-level global advocates working to ensure that no one’s life is limited by how they cook. The Advisory Committee, a smaller group of Leadership Council members, includes leaders across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors who provide strategic counsel to CCA and offer a diverse range of viewpoints critical to advancing partnerships, innovation, and impact in the clean cooking sector.

As an initiative hosted by UNF, CCA receives oversight from the UNF Board of Directors, and its audited financials are included under UNF’s U.S. Internal Revenue Service Form 990. The UNF Board of Directors maintains fiduciary responsibility for CCA, and UNF also provides CCA with operational support and maintains a seat on CCA's Leadership Council and Advisory Committee. UNF was awarded a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, the largest and most widely used charity evaluator in the United States.
